When it rolled off the ARACO Toyota production line back in 1973, it is precise to original produces specs and appears simply as it did. You will not find a more initial or carefully restored FJ40. There are well in unwanted of a thousand hours in this construct, and probably simply as lots of in study and parts acquisition in order to keep stability. As much as the pictures reveal, this car ares more impressive face to face. I have actually possessed twelve FJ40s over the past twenty years, and dealt with numerous even more. This makes my sixth restoration, and with each comes more knowledge, efficiency, and ability. It is by far the most extensive I have ever finished. I am a one-man operation, and I have an enthusiasm for early Toyota Fj40s. Prior to doing restorations full-time, I was a mechanic in my daddies automotive repair company and carried out restoration work on the side in my totally free time. I am a purist and a perfectionist when it comes to Land Cruiser rebuilds and I believe my work reflects this; and as a testament to that, the last 2 restorations I have completed are now in galleries. This restoration is distinct during that it started with whats called a survivor an unmolested and extremely complete sampling. All elements are original to the automobile and carefully refurbished. The entire vehicle was taken apart and catalogued. All hardware and adornments were kept, cleaned, yellow zinc plated or re-chromed as per manufacturing facility spec. For brand-new parts, every effort was made to utilize NOS OEM Toyota parts and reconstruct kits sourced from the local Toyota dealer or from other trustworthy Land Cruiser Specialists. Aftermarket parts were only used when definitely needed and just because the originals were no longer readily available. No cost was spared and the attention to detail of this restoration is second to none. Every bolt, nut, and decal is right in its application.
